Quite a nice combination of colours and seeing as I had some green paper from another project lying on my desk I decided to put it to use.
In our Copic class this week we were learning about tip-to-tip blending and palette blending. I gave the Palette Blending a try using an orange and a red marker on a flower from The Craft's Meow set called "Beautiful Spring". I know my colour turned out more firey orange than what is on this colour board at PDCC, but hey, I like it! And yes, I did add a touch of yellow to the centre.
Paper: cardstock (PTI); Neenah white
Ink: Hero Arts Green chalk ink; Copic markers; Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps: Hero Arts (Lattice background and sentiment); The Craft's Meow (Flower and Leaf)
Other: Pearls (Hero Arts)
Ok, I hope not to post something green next time, but then again, I still have some green scraps on my desk which I want to use up!
My Mom and Dad in law are coming for the weekend to kind of say goodbye. We have been so lucky to have been so close to two very special people. My MIL is a Grandma in every way! I wonder how Natasha is going to react when it dawns on her that Grandma cannot come to visit just whenever! But, I am thrilled to say that they have already booked their tickets for a visit to South Africa in December!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
