Hi There!

I don't seem to have had much time to do any crafting this week, life suddenly got busy and looks like it's going to get busier!

Last night I sat down and figured out a way to use this flower I had coloured just recently.
Paper: cardstock (PTI); Neenah
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Copics; Dusty Concord DI
Stamps: HA Modern Lines; PTI Label Basics; The Craft's Meow - "Just Sayin", Beautiful Spring"
Other: White Gel Pen; Gem (Michaels); dimensional foam

The flower from TCM is stamped twice, coloured with Copics, trimmed and then layered for dimension with some foam tape under the petals.  I did add some white dots with my gel pen here and there. Here is a little close up so see the dimension and the dots.

If the background looks skew to you, don't worry, there is nothing wrong with your eyes, it was meant to be.  I stamped the Modern Lines from Hero Arts with some Dusty Concord on a seperate piece of cardstock which I then adhered in a slanted fashion.

Well, hubby will be home in less than 2 hours!  I am so happy!  It seems like these three weeks have been tougher on both of us, and Natasha has had her days too. So although we will be having a busy weekend with activities, (school festival, garage sale, girl scouts outing), at least we will be together!

I hope you have a wonderful day and a great introduction into your weekend!
