My Brother's birthday is coming up soon and I wanted to make him a card especially from me. I am younger by 2 years and he is cracking a really BIG birthday number this year (which means that mine is not far behind - yikes!).
He can be quite humourous for a Frenchman in a serious kind of way so I did not want to do a typical masculine serious kind of card, I went for a cutesy, loving kind of feel and I hope he enjoys it. It's as plain as can be, but this Rosie image from Purple Onion Design, designed by Stacey Yacula was too sweet to pass up!
Her name is Rosie! Is she cute or what! I touched her up here and there with copic markers and a white gel pen.
I'm going to add this card to the current Simon Says Stamp Challenge, "Anything Goes".
This is the last day for you to leave a comment on my GIVEAWAY post, I think I'll close it off at 12h00 noon today CST. I'll announce the winner tomorrow morning.
My in-laws are coming over for a visit shortly, it's always nice to see them! This is the last time that they will get to see their son before we leave for South Africa in June! But thankfully, they have already booked their trip to visit us this December - I am so lucky!
I had a great run this morning although the humidity is starting to show it's face!
Oh and some awesome happy news, Martha, (you can find her work on the Hero Arts Flickr site HERE) whose work I totally drool over, is coming to stay over at my house in a few weeks time for the weekend! So her and Lisa and I are going to spend some fantastic crafty time together! Maybe by the time she leaves we can convince her (maybe even get her started) to set up a blog! She is SO talented, her work really needs to be viewed by as many as possible!
Have a totally fantastic Sunday!
