I was browsing through some of my favourite blogs and came across this gorgeous colour board from Embellish Magazine and just had to try it out.
At the same time I saw the Mojo Monday sketches
and the round card appealed to me tremendously, especially after I saw my friend Lisa's gorgeous circle card. So, a first for me, I combined the two challenges to make my card and I had a lot of fun doing it! (And of course I will add this to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge which is Anything Goes).
Paper: cardstock (PTI); patterned paper (MME)
Ink: CTMH; Glimmer Mist
Stamps: The Craft's Meow
Other: Die (Memory Box); Buttons (Hero Arts); Lace Border Die (PTI); Nestibilitie; Corner Chomper
I used my Nestie to make the card and spritzed the front of the card with some chocolate Glimmer Mist to capture the specks on the eggs. The rest is pretty obvious. I love that birdie die, it is so small and sweet! I only just got it as it has been out of stock for the longest time.
My morning got off to a great start! I enjoyed a wonderful 12 mile run in a cool 59F temperature, just beautiful. Spent the run with friends, just chatting and laughing. This afternoon I am taking my daughter and her friend out to the movies to see The Lorax and then we are going for a light dinner. I'm looking forward to today! I hope you have some pleasurable plans too!
