Waiting, waiting for hubby to come back home! Another one and a half weeks! This has been a 4 week stint, not nice! But this card will go to OWH as they are in short supply of I Miss You cards.
The other day I made THIS card using the negative part of a die, so today I decided I had to use the positive die cut.
Paper: cardstock (PTI); designer paper (My Mind's Eye)
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black; Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink
Stamps: Technique Tuesday
Other: Die (Turning a New Leaf - PTI); Woodgrain embossing folder
As you can see I am still in a simple, clean mood, and using up the bits and pieces lying on my desk.
I really like that font from Ali Edwards at Technique Tuesday. I'll pop this into the current Simon Says Stamp challenge which is Anything Goes.
Wishing you a wonderful day!

It's beautiful, Bren! I'm really enjoying your clean and simple phase! Sending an extra big hug to you today - must be so difficult to be without hubby for so long. My mom went through the same thing for years with my dad. Don't know how she did it with 6 of us kids. Hang in there, sweet girl, and here's another hug! :)
This is such a lovely way to use bits and pieces. Clean and simple at its best; love the colors!
oh this is so lovely brenda! love that you are doing CAS cards!!
I love that textured die cut! I'm a fan of CAS so I can never get enough of it! Hoping the days go by fast for you!

Sorry that you hubby has been away for so long already and I think it's such a great way to express your feelings onto making cards. Never thought of doing that, thanks for the idea!
