Fall Card Exchange

We did a Fall card exchange amongst a number of Hero Arts Flickr friends and I had the pleasure of making a card for Anita in Canada!  Had I known the card was going to take that long to get to her I would have just flown over and given it to her myself!  Boy the post to Canada moves at a snails pace!

Here is my card:

Paper: cardstock (PTI); designer paper (K & Co.)
Ink: Brushed Corduroy & Vintage Photo DI
Stamps: Hero Arts (Small Open Flower); PTI (Tiny Tags)
Other: Gems (Hero Arts); PTI Bloom Builders #3 die; Button (old stash); Large Scallop Edge Die (PTI)

I really enjoyed making this card!  I love the simple stamping and the lovely designer paper.  And I adored making that paper flower.  I really like all those warm colours!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog!  You guys are great!

Tomorrow I am participating in an OWH Fundraiser Bloghop with K 'n K Designs and I got to use one of their digital stamps.  This is all for an extremely good cause, to raise money for OWH so that they can fund the postage costs of the cards they send to the armed forces so that they in turn can write home to their loved ones!  Hoping to see you there!

Hugs to all!  Have a wonderful day!

What a gorgeous card! So elegant. Love how you coordinated the stamped images with the paper flower, and the scalloped edge on the DP is a nice touch.

What a stunner Brenda. You are so right about the post to Canada. I sent the Family Christening gown from NZ to Canada and it took 4 weeks..
