Autumn Woods

Aah...wood, beautiful wood!  I love these colours and the pattern these make stacked in that way!  This is the Trigger this week over at Moxie Fab World, I hope it's not too late to post it but we have been busy with Halloween celebrations!  I am also going to add it to the Simon Says Stamp challenge which is Anything Goes.

I don't know what's with me lately but I seem to be into minimal stamping!  I found a few minutes today to make this card that I had visualized probably since the trigger went up, it's based on the colours and the pattern....and it's very different for me....but I absolutely knew for sure that this is what I wanted to do with it....so here goes!

Paper: cardstock (PTI); patterned paper (Cosmo Cricket)
Stamps: MFT & HA alphabet stamps
Ink: Versafine Onyx black

Nothing much else to tell you here except that I cut some 1/4" strips of designer paper and weaved them in and out of each other and then adhered them to the notecard.

I am not sure if "you crossed my mind" is something Americans say, but it is an expression I am familiar with where I come from.  Here it is meant in a loving, maybe shy kind of way...you know, when a couple are just getting to know each other and perhaps don't really want to admit how much they are actually thinking of one another... so they admit to it but in a "passing" kind of way....you crossed my mind (meaning, I am thinking of you A LOT!).

Side Note: I did manage to do my 12 mile run yesterday morning and it was TOTALLY AWESOME!  I was pain free during the run (not after) and the temperature was beyond perfect, 48F!!!  I am in heaven!

Congrats on your run, Brenda! I know it has been a struggle for you recently. This card is so unique and fun and a great take on the Trigger. Love it! And, yes, I do say that line.

Hello Brenda
Firstly well done on completing the run, glad you enjoyed it.
You know as soon as I saw this design on your card I remembered that I made a few of these some months back but never used them!
Using these muted brights against the Kraft is lovely and your sentiment (I know it well) is just perfect.
Smiles:)

this is gorgeous Brenda. Such a great take on the Tuesday Trigger. So glad too that you enjoyed your run.... makes my 2.5km ( 1.5 mile) walk pale in comparison. But that temp was COLD to me... only around 9 degrees C. That mid winter temps where I live. Take care
