After not having a good crafting day yesterday I went back upstairs and tried again, no challenges, just creating because I wanted to, and I have to say, that I feel much happier now because I actually like what I made, it's simple, just the way I seem to like things the older I get.
Some nice paper from Basic Grey and a nice stamp from Hero Arts.
Paper: cardstock (PTI); Neenah; patterned paper ("Out of Print" - Basic Grey)
Ink: Memento; Copics
Stamps: HA (Butterflies and Print CG328; Sentiment - CL286 )
Other: PTI large scallop die; brad (Recollections); flax (CTMH); sewing
The flower was stamped twice and layered for dimension, with a black brad in the centre. I decided to add some flax in a bow behind the flower (I have seem quite a few people do that and I really like the look). A bit of sewing, some scallops and a large sentiment completed the card.
I hope you like it. And thank you for all your lovely comments, they are precious!
