Peace & Happiness

Trying not to waste a moment in giving the two background stamps which I bought from a Flickr friend some love and attention.  I had in my mind to make a Christmas card but with unconventional colours  and I knew I wanted to get inky!

Paper: notecard (Paper Studio); Neenah; patterned paper (unknown)
Ink: Antique Linen, Spun Sugar & Tumbled Glass DI; Versafine Onyx Black; Versamark
Stamps: Hero Arts (S5068 Poinsettia & Birds; CL343)
Other: Clear embossing powder; Scalloped Edge Punch (Stampin' Up)

I simply stamped the background in Versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  Then I used my ink daubers and applied the various inks to the image allowing the embossed parts to resist the ink.  I punched a strip of paper with a scallop punch and added the sentiment strip.

I like the peaceful colours!

Thank you for passing by!  Have a glorious day!
