I am playing with my WPlus9 stamp set again today, I just adore it! It's called "Magical Moments".
Paper: Notecard (The Paper Studio); Neenah
Ink: Shabby Shutters, Milled Lavender & Mustard Seed DI; Copic markers; Memento Tuxedo Black; Hero Hues Iris Chalk ink; Versamark
Stamps: WPlus9 (Magical Moments); Hero Arts (Modern Lines S5218)
Other: Dimensional Squares; PTI Die; Clear embossing powder
I was inspired by Darlene's post where she used her inks to ink up her background paper to match the colours she used on her stamped images. If you have not visited Darlene's blog yet make sure that you do, she has so many hidden tips in her wonderful video tutorials!
A flickr friend, Anne, was clearing out her craft room and selling some stamps that needed a home. I purchased the "Modern Lines" background stamp from her, (I am a believer in big background stamps), thank you Anne, and I decided to put it to use right away! I clear embossed the stamp before inking over it with some distress inks.
I love those little flowers and leaves that came in the Magical Moments set, for the one flower I layered the yellow flower over the purple one, I like the effect it has. That centre panel is popped up for some dimension.
Today is packing day as we leave for a nice beach holiday tomorrow! I will be trying to pop in every now and then, in the evenings when both daughter and hubby are asleep, which will happen! I have a few posts lined up too just to make sure you still visit!
Hugs to all and thank you for leaving me such heart warming positive comments! You are all truly special!
