Summer Card Camp - Week 4

Can you believe it, we are into the last week of Summer Card Camp!  Wow, the time just flew!  I really had hoped to have made many more cards using all the suggested colour combos, sketches, techniques, but, life happened!  I am determined to make one card every day this week though.  The colour combo this week makes me think of the ocean...
And here is my first go at these colours:

Paper: cardstock (PTI); Neenah
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Copic Markers; Broken China DI; CTMH Dye Ink (Juniper & Heavenly Blue)
Stamps: Hero Arts (CL479; CL372)
Other: Buttons; Dimensional squares

I have been wanting to create my own background with the Dictionary Greeting set and decided to try it out on this card, I like how it turned out.  The rest was easy.  Do you like my bubbles? I did not have matching buttons, they were a different shade of green, so I used my copic marker to colour over them to match the green on the fish.

On another note, that Bodypump class yesterday with Lisa, wow!  What a workout!  And I thought I was strong!  My thighs are so sore, walking up and down stairs is a hoot!  Maybe we did one too many squats!  However, I definitely want to do more of it, what an awesome total body workout, other than some cardio, you probably do not have to do any other form of exercise because it made you use every single muscle in your body!  I highly recommend it!

Ok, that was a side note.  I am also going to enter this card for this month's Hero Arts contest which is all things summer and parties, and I think this is a summery set of colours and it is for a birthday after all! And also adding it to Simon Says Stamp's "Anything Goes Challenge".

Have an awesome day, what's left of it.  It's 11pm here and these legs need to go horizontal!

Love this fun card Brenda and your homemade background is great. Sorry I have not visited for a while but life has been so busy lately. I am off on holiday next week and then I hope things get back to normal. I am really missing my crafting and blogging time!!!!
