It's already week 2 of Summer Card Camp and here is the colour combination for this week:
I am not the best when it comes to so many colours in one card, but I try! So here is my first card...
Paper: PTI; Hero Arts notecard
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Peeled Paint & Spiced Marmalade DI; Copic Markers
Stamps: Hero Arts (CL377; CL493; S5507; S5435)
Other: PTI Edgers Die #1; Gems (Hero Arts)
I used an idea from Kristina from week one where she used some patterned paper on the inside of her card which shows on the edge of the outside of her card. I used my PTI Edgers Die#1 on the front of the card and then stamped a green piece of cardstock with the Graph Background stamp from Hero Arts and adhered that to the inside of the card.
I did some doodling on the dark orange strip in the centre using a white gel pen, that's after stamping it with the Envelope Pattern stamp.
I stamped, coloured and cut out the little flower three times and adhered it to the centre panel, then applied glossy accents to the petals.
The sentiment strip is another piece of green cardstock stamped with the Graph Background and a sentiment also from Hero Arts.
I think these colours are super summery so I will also add this to this month's Hero Arts contest.
I am going to have to play with these colours some more in order to feel more comfortable with them!
Only a week left with my sister and family but it's been great, plus she has wanted to make some birthday cards so we are gettting some crafty time together! Nice!
