I have not had too much opportunity to play with all the ideas of week 2 of Summer Card Camp, but I managed to create this card using this weeks colour combination which was a yellowy orange, an orange/terracota, red/poppy, and two different shades of green.
I also decided to use one of the sketches that was shared this week.
Paper: Hero Arts Notecard; Neenah; PTI Cardstock; Basic Grey "Out of Print"
Ink: Copics; Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps: Hero Arts (CL488; CG328)
Other: Clear Embossing Powder; Ribbon (unknown); Stampin Up Scalloped border punch
I have to admit that I totally love this sketch and have used it (without) the ribbon on a number of occasions. It really allows you to ise up scraps of paper, especially all those thin little strips that I never get rid of (my sister thought I was mad keeping those strips until I showed her why I kept them).
And how perfect is that piece of ribbon I found in my ribbon box! I know it's from South Africa, but that's about all the info I have.
Thank you for taking a peek. Maybe I can play one more time with this weeks' colour combo before Sunday. Wishing you all a fabulous weekend!

This is so pretty, Brenda! Love the paper you used and it's a wonderful take on that sketch!
This is a wonderful way to use your scrpas. There is so much to look at; the lovely "border" with shades of green and the butterfly is a stunner. Love your bow too.
Have a great weekend!
I really like your card Brenda and know what you mean about not having time to play along with camp this week...I found myself in the same predicament!
Lovely card Brenda. Great take on the colours.
Beautiful, Brenda! I love this sketch, too and plan to keep it in my file for future use!
Girl- did you make this while you were/are sick? It's awesome! Don't know how you could concentrate on that! Love all the touches of scallops on the ribbon, edge, and flower in the center- too cute :)
This is gorgeous Brenda, the colour combo is eye catching.
Smiles:)
