Natalie's 90 Minute Scramble

I managed to find the time to join in on the Hero Arts 90 minute scramble which was hosted by Natalie!  Thank you Natalie, it was great!  We had two choices, either Christmas in July but with NO red or green, or a Summer Card using red and green!

I opted for  Christmas in July and managed to actually make two cards:

The first one uses a colour combination of kraft, pink and blue.

Paper: PTI cardstock; Neenah
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black; Broken China, Tumbled Glass & Spun Sugar DI; HA Soft Pool shadow ink
Stamps: Hero Arts (CL488, CL343, CL459, S5247)

The background stamp was stamped using the Soft Pool ink which I love.  The tree was distressed with two shades of blue distress ink and then adhered with dimensional squares.  The sentiment tag was stamped with Spun Sugar, it's such a nice soft pink colour.

My second card is a 4" X 4" card using an old Hero Arts set of tiny little wooden stamps.  This time I opted for blue and brown.

Paper: HA Notecard; PTI cardstock; Neenah
Ink: Broken China DI; Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps: Hero Arts (Merry Christmas LL795)
Other: Gem (Hero Arts); Dimensional squares

By this stage I was in a real hurry to make the deadline so I did not even have time to draw lines in order to ensure that the stamps all matched up, I basically just eyeballed my placement and thank goodness it worked out fine!

The entire panel was adhered using dimensional squares.

That's me for today!  Have an enjoyable Sunday!
