Thank You Flower

My friend Lisa let's me use her stamps and vice versa, we really have a great relationship!  She has been away for a week so I snuck over to her house and borrowed this Hero Arts "Hand Drawn Flower" to make a card!  Thank you Lisa!

Paper: PTI Cardstock; K & Co.; Neenah
Ink: Walnut Stain & Antique Linen DI
Stamps: HA (CG285; S4878); PTI (Tiny Tags)
Other: PTI Tiny Tags Die; Jute; Pearls & Lace (South Africa); Clear EP

I trimmed a card base to make it square and then stamped it with the HA "Old Letter Writing" stamp using Antique Linen DI.  I used the same ink to lightly ink the card edges.  I stamped the flower directly onto K & Co. designer paper with Walnut Stain DI and clear embossed, then cut it out and adhered it to the card base. I added some pearls to the flower centre using glossy accents.

The final touches were a little jute threaded through the trim and a little tag from PTI added on with the sentiment.

Thank you for taking a look.  I think this will go to someone special.

This has an elegant look. Oh, Barb, you already said that... but combined with the lace, yes, elegant. The jute adds an earthy touch. Love the card.

So pretty! I love what you've done with that flower! Don't you love having a friends that you can share with? I have a friend who has an amazing craft room and probably well over 150 PTI stamps and she shares with me all the time!!! :>
