This is my second post for today, so make sure to scroll down if you want to see my version of the colour blocking technique.
So it's time for Lawnscaping's 12th challenge, and this week it's a sketch:
A nice fun sketch which I pretty much stuck to. I used the Lawn Fawn "Fly Free" set I won for commenting not too long ago.
Paper: Neenah; PTI cardstock; My Mind's Eye; The Girls Paperie
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Antique Linen DI; Copic Markers
Stamps: Lawn Fawn (Fly Free)
Other: Caribbean Twine (The Twinery); Spellbinders Deckled Edge Die; Dimensional Squares
Lucky for me the patterned paper from The Girls Paperie had that scalloped pattern in it so I simply cut around it. The birdie is adhered with dimensional squares and so is the main background which is adhered to the notecard. I inked around that rustic cream cardstock with some Antique Linen distress ink which is fast becoming one of my favourites for this kind of look.
Thank you for taking a peek! And thanks in advance for all the lovely comments you leave me, they make me happy!

This is so cute! I love your take on the challenge! You and I did the same thing. Cut around the patterned paper to make the scalloped edge! I love that about patterned paper. Love the addition of text and lined paper! This is fabulous Brenda.
And thanks for letting me know about the linky thing. I forgot to add it to the post. It's there now so feel free to link this up to the challenge now! Thanks for playing along with us again!
