You're Special

Another CAS card today, still working on getting those creative juices flowing, but I am distracted at the moment so I guess that may be the reason.

Paper: Cardstock (PTI); Stella Rose (My Mind's Eye); Neenah Solar White
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Copic Markers; Spica Glitter Pen
Stamps: Penny Black; Hero Arts (sentiment & dragonfly)
Other: Large Scalloped Circle Spellbinders Die; Sizzinx Tag die; Paper Flower (unknown)

I used the latest OWH sketch (#70) as the starting point for my card.  Thank goodness or I might not have gotten anywhere!  I think the card is still pretty as it is but perhaps I should have used an embossing folder or impression plate on the base card, not sure really.

I popped up the leaf and when I stuck down the flower itself I only glued the bottom of it and not the petals so that in real life it also has some dimension.

Have a wonderful day. We are having awesome weather out here, summer is most certainly just about upon us!

PS: Tomorrow is the BIG OWH Memorial Day Weekend Bloghop, be sure to pass by and hop along!
