Slowly but surely I am finding my style, what a relief! I definitely think I am more Clean & Simple than anything else and just recently I am starting to develop a love for pretty papers. However, I still envy people like my friend Lisa who take cute to a totally different level and Jacqueline and Susanne whose style is more vintage, romantic and collage, and then you have Sally who loves different card shapes with flowers and pretty pink inks, and Sanne who is a master at anything Kraft, and Rosemary who ties the most beautiful bows and Tiffany who basically can do it all, the list goes on and on....
So today I went CAS and seeing as the current challenge over on Less Is More is either Thank You or Congratulations, I believe my card fits right in there.
Paper: Cardstock (PTI); Sweet Threads (Basicgrey) Ink: CTMH dye ink; Versafine Onyx Black; Vintage Photo DI
Stamps: Hero Arts (S5154); Lawn Fawn (sentiment)
Other: Corner Chomper; EK Success punch; pearls (stash)
I love this design so much that I made another one with different patterned paper and ink. I love that the little sentiment I received as a gift from Kelly Marie at Lawn Fawn fits perfectly into that little tag. I popped up the sentiment with some dimensional dots and also just lightly inked its edges for some depth.
Don't you just love that patterned paper from Basicgrey! I really like these 6x6 pads, perfect for card makers so I at least get to use the entire pad and not hoard the paper.
It's so funny, now that I think I am finding my style I feel a kind of a relief. I hope it lasts and that I don't go off at a tangent in a month or so looking to change my style, anything is possible, it's me we're talking about here!
Thank you for popping by. Wishing you a wonderful Monday.
