Make-It & Mail-It : Tall Flower Thank You

I wanted to make a Thank You card for someone and also wanted to use the beautiful Tall Flower stamp from Hero Arts.  In addition, I felt like colouring in with pencil crayons today and using my Gamsol to smooth out the colours.  It's just therapeutic really!  Lisa is having a challenge HERE for you to make something and get it in the mail right away, you know, instead of hoarding it!  Great idea!

Paper: Cardstock (PTI); Neenah Solar White
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; CTMH Dye ink; Derwent Colour Pencils
Stamps: Hero Arts (K5431); PTI (Tiny Tags)
Other: PTI Tiny Tags Die; Paper Flower & Eyelet (stash); Stickles; Glossy Accents; Corner Chomper

As you can see it's a fairly simple card.  The most challenging part for me was deciding where and how to add the sentiment, so I have a lot of "Thank You" sentiments on strips of white paper for a rainy day!  I eventually decided on one of the tiny tags from PTI.

I tried another spinning class this morning just for something different, change is good, and I enjoyed myself thoroughly, I think it's going to become a weekly fixture.  Now I also need to find time to add some swimming (if only they would make the pool water at the gym a little warmer than 70F!  I know, I am a baby when it comes to cooler water!), and I want to add some strength training!!!

I hope that you are having a wonderful day.  It's certainly warming up here in Houston!

Very pretty card Brenda- love your colouring!

Great to hear you are trying new things with exercising. I'm trying to get into doing some kind of exercise every day. We walk most mornings and I've actually started using my cross trainer that had been sitting abandoned in the spare room for years lol! I just discovered Zumba too, I have the Wii game and that's a lot of fun :) I'm working up the courage to take myself to a Zumba class in town too, but scared to go on my own!!
