Spring Card Exchange

Anita from the Hero Arts Flickr group had hosted a Spring card exchange a short while ago.  Here is the card I made for Elize, which she has now received.

Paper: Hero Arts Notecard; Neenah Solar White
Ink: Tumbled Glass, Worn Lipstick, Shabby Shutters & Vintage Photo DI; Soft Leaf Shadow Ink (HA); Versamark
Stamps: Hero Arts
Other: Cosmo Cricket Rub-Ons; Corner Chomper; White Enamel Accents; Stickles; White Embossing Powder

I first stamped three different pieces of white cardstock with the "Edged Fabric with Flowers" cling stamp in pink, blue and green inks.  I then stamped the Small Sweet Petal stamp over the pink and blue stamped image with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.  Then I cut out those two flowers.  I added some white enamel accents to the stamens and some stickles to the centres.

I stamped the leaf from the "Three Dotted Flowers" cling set onto the green stamped paper with Shabby Shutters and cut those leaves out.

Finally I stamped a strip of white cardstock with the Envelope Pattern stamp using Vintage Photo.  I assembled my card and used a Cosmo Cricket rub-on for the sentiment.

I was on the receiving end of an awesome card from Tiffany and she also included so many beautiful goodies that I can use when making cards or scrapbooking!  She was so generous that when I opened the envelope I just cried!  Thank you Tiffany!  Here is Tiffany's card, and I encourage you to go to her web site and see all her other wonderful creations!

So on that beautiful note I leave you for this morning, perhaps I will be back later with more once I figure out what else I need to do today.  You know when there is something niggling at you that you said you needed to do, but you just cannot remember!  And I make so many lists, but maybe therein lies the problem!

Have an awesome day and a wonderful weekend!
