Birthday Butterfly

Today I made a few CAS Birthday cards that I want to send off to OWH, but I am only sharing one here so that I don't bore you.  I stamped off a whole lot of my favourite butterfly from the Hero Arts Antique Engravings set and coloured them all in using my Copic markers.  Then I trimmed them all so that they could be ready to adhere to my cards as I needed them.

Paper: PTI Cardstock; Neenah Solar White
Ink: Copic markers; Versafine Onyx Black; Memento Tuxedo Black; Adirondack (Denim)
Stamps: Hero Arts (butterfly); Technique Tuesday (sentiment); PTI (Polka Dot Basics)
Other: Corner Chomper; Dimentional dots

Not only is this my favourite butterfly of all times, but I also just love the fonts that Ali Edwards comes up with.  You can find her magnificent stamps HERE.

The spring weather here in Houston is just absolutely gorgeous, but I know that the stiffling heat is just around the corner!  I can already feel it when I go running at 5am, I come back looking like a tomato!

Hoping you are all having a fabulous day!

Hi Brenda, your card is very pretty--love the gorgeous butterfly. I would never be bored with your cards either. I would love to see the rest of your cards that you made. The weather here in Alabama has been gorgeous, too. I know what you mean about the hot temperatures being just around the corner. Not looking forward to the hot temps. Hugs to you and have a great day.

Love the coloring on the butterfly together with the matching card. I love the sentiment too and it's a pity that HA does not carry such fonts. ( I've already suggested to them)
