Papertrey Ink Celebrations!

Papertrey Ink is celebrating their 4th Aniversary!  I think that that is a wonderful testimony to their beautiful stamps as well as many other items they produce, some of my favourites are definitely obviously their stamps, but their paper is totally awesome and I am really loving their dies.

You should head over to Nichole Heady's Blog as she is having an absolute awesome giveaway and the rules to qualify are super easy, with everyone having two chances to win.  One of the things you could do to stand a chance to win was to post/re-post a favourite creation from 2010 using at least one of their products.  So I am going to repost the card I made for my Mom after she left to return to South Africa from a short visit here.  I was missing her terribly and here is the card I made for her:

Paper: PTI Cardstock, Neenah Solar White
Stamps: PTI, Alie Edwards (sentiment)
Ink: Copics, Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark
Other: Clear embossing Powder, Glitter, Gems (Hero Arts), Nestability Scalloped Oval Die

I stamped the flower (there are 2 in the set, one large, one smaller), it's called Year of Flowers: Mums and you can see it HERE, several times with Versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder to create the background.

I stamped the larger flower on the oval scallop and coloured it in with Copic Markers, added a little glitter to the centre and a few gems around the sentiment. (You can find this posted on the 28th November 2010).

To Papertrey Ink, congratulations on your 4 Year Anniversary!
