Hero Arts Hostess Colour Challenge

Over on the Hero Arts Flickr Group one of the new Hostesses, Sally, has put out a colour challenge!  I love the colours she chose from flowers in her garden and wool from her local supplier!  We were encouraged to participate and create a project influenced by her pictures.  I love the colours!  So here is my take:

Paper: PTI White cardstock, Various Patterned papers and Kraft
Ink: Copic Markers, Memento Tuxedo Black, Punch Chalk Ink (Hero Arts)
Stamps: Hero Arts, PTI
Other: Ranger Diamond Stickles, PTI Fillable Frames #11 Die

What fun to colour in all those flowers to create this background carpet of gorgeous colours!  Added to that was a bunch of scalloped strips which came from my basket of scraps.  I used the PTI Fillable Frames #11 stamp set and die to make the frame that holds the sentiment.  The sentiment itself is from Hero Arts.

I just had to add that cute little bee from another Hero Arts set, (in Sally's photo there is a bee on the one flower), and I popped the bee up with some dimensional dots, after adding some sparkle to its wings!

I hope you are getting time to craft today, or at least to do something you love!  See you again soon!
