Get Sketchy with Wee Memories!

I decided to take part in the current challenge over at Wee Memories, it's a super sweet sketch and it's sponsored by Simon Says Stamp!

Here is the sketch:

And here is my very simple take on it, I wanted to play with orange and teal like colours for this card.

Paper: Post Cards from Hobby Lobby, Neenah Solar White
Stamps: Unity (Border), Hero Arts (sentiment), Darkroom Door (Flowers)
Ink: Juniper Dye Ink (CTMH), Spiced Marmalade & Pumice Stone Distress Ink, Memento Tuxedo Black
Other: Gems (Hero Arts), Nestability Scalloped Circle Die

I first stamped, cut out and adhered the top border.  I love this border from the January 2011 Unity Kit of the Month. I then used a Nestability Scalloped Circle Die to create a mask, and then stamped the flowers inside the negative of the die, masking off the remainder of the card. Whilst keeping the mask in place, I inked around the inside edge with some Pumice Stone Distress Ink.

I stamped my sentiment and scored a line above and below it to finish off the sketch. Added a few pearls as I thought that the background was too white.

That's if for today.  I hope you have a fantastic evening!
