Today I wanted to try and make a card that had a cut out on the front panel with the sentiment stamped behind it, just for something different, for me, because I had never done that before.
Paper: PTI Cardstock
Ink: Dusty Concord, Worn Lipstick & Peeled Paint Distress inks, Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps: Hero Arts, Ali Edwards (sentiment)
Other: Nestabilitie die, Pearlized water, Dimensional Adhesive, Spica Lavender Glitter Pen
To tell you the truth I am not 100% sure of my colour selection, but I did want it to be more on the bright side. Just before stamping the Butterfly Flowers I spritzed the stamp lightly with pearlized water, it's a pity one cannot see the shine on the photo but it really does have a nice sparkle in real life. I also added some Lavender Spica glitter pen to the edges of the butterfly wings. The front panel is adhered with some dimensional strips to the actual card base.
I hope you are having a great day. I hope to be able to get some crafting done today, I have so many ideas in my head, I need to get them on paper. I have an "ideas" book that I keep with me in my craft room, but for some reason I forget to just jot down the ideas or sketches that are on my mind, and I also never have it with me when I am looking at my favourite blogs, what good is that! Ok, so I need to work on that too!
