I just adore making new friendships through crafting. This is a card for someone, can't mention names yet, but someone I "met" in a round about way in the crafting world over the web.
I used a mixture of Papertrey Ink and Hero Arts stamps. I had never inked these PTI stamps before but I really do like them, so pretty!
Paper: PTI cardstock
Stamps: Papertrey Ink (birds), Hero Arts (sentiment and background)
Ink: Forest Moss and Vntage Photo Distress Inks
Other: The worlds' tiniest gems from my stash
Not much explanation required. I stamped and cut out the bird images and adhered them to the stamped background. The sentiment is adhered with some dimensional adhesive strips. I have added a tiny gem to a few flowers and next to the sentiment.
As you can see, I don't think it is possible to name my "style as I tend to try a little bit of everything. And I am ok with that, maybe as time passes, I will get myself a "label" where people see me as this X type of crafter, but it's not important to me. What is important, is for people to see that I am loving what I am doing!
Have an awesome day! It's apparently going to freeze tonight!

These birds are so adorable! I love the design too!
To answer your question, when I have a very embellished card that I have to send via mail I use a manila type envelope with the air bubbles on the inside. :):):)
