I was in the mood to be funny today when I was thinking about the balance of my Christmas cards I still need to make. I stared around the room for a while and my eyes fell on one of my firts Hero Art buys, which is this set made up of many tiny little woodblock stamps. I bought it because it was cute, and truth be told, I have used it here and there, but not enough.
So today, I used two of the small woodblock stamps in a repeated fashion and created this rather simple, but fun card!
Paper: PTI cardstock, Neenah Solar White
Stamps: Hero Arts tiny Merry Christmas woodblock stamps
Ink: Brushed Corduroy Distress ink, Versafine
Other: Dimensional dots
Isn't it fun! Nothing to it really. I simply created the background using the tiny Gingerbread man in Brushed Corduroy Distress ink. I created the sentiment by repeatedly stamping it on a strip of white cardstock. I then stamped three additional Gingerbread men on various coloured cardstock, cut them out and adhered them with dimensional adhesives to pop them off the page. I also inked the edges of the kraft cardstock slightly with Brushed Corduroy.
It's just cute, they look happy, like they are enjoying life, which is what I hope you are doing today!
Thank you for stopping by and leaving me your wonderful comments, I truly appreciate it! Wishing you a wonderful day!
