More Merry Christmas or Two...

I have a few more Christmas cards I wanted to share.  In both of these I wanted to try and use some of that BIG pile of patterned paper I seem to have accumulated!  (You know what I mean!)

Paper: Neenah Solar White, PTI Cardstock, Patterned paper - Very Old, No Idea!
Stamps: PTI, Hero Arts (sentiment)
Ink: Fired Brick Distress Ink, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
Other: Stickles, PTI Die

The centre panel was cut using one of the PTI Mat Stack Dies. I ran a Copic marker around the edge to get that greeny colour to match the patterned paper. The candy cane was stamped, coloured and cut out and then applied to the die.

For the next layer, I created the background by stamping those sweeties in Fired Brick and inking the edges with the same ink.  Then it was just a matter of matting and adhering to the card base.  I just love the brightness of this card!

This next card was made using a digital image from Dizzy Designs.

Paper: Neenah Solar White, PTI Cardstock, Patterned Paper unknown!
Stamps: Hero Arts (sentiment), Dizzy Designs (Christmas Lights), PTI (text background)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics, Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink
Other: Sewing, Red Stickles, Glossy Accents

I printed out the digital image and coloured it in using Copic Markers.  I added some stickles to the bow and some Glossy Accents to the light bulbs, and THEN, yes, I cut around that image, every teeny tiny little leaf!!!! I adhered that over the stamped text background, which I had stamped in Brushed Corduroy Distress ink.  This was then matted onto red cardstock.

I also sewed the patterned paper onto a piece of red cardstock and then adhered all the panels including the sentiment.

That's it for now.  My daughter is not well, coughing up a storm, so she is spending another day at home with me today (I secretly love it! Having her near me that is.).

Wishing you all a great day and thank you for leaving me lovely comments!
