Hero Arts Card Exchange

On the Hero Arts Flickr site Anita organised for a card exchange with fellow stampers.  I got to send a card to Sue in Canada and she has now received it, so I have decided to post it here on my blog.

Paper: Neenah Solar White, Kraft
Stamps: Hero Arts, Stampers Anonymous
Ink: Chipped Sapphire, Fired Brick, Vintage Photo and Peeled Paint Distress inks, Versamark
Other: PTI Snowflake Dies, Felt, Twine (The Twinery), PTI Tag Die, Button (stash), Diamond Stickles, Clear Embossing Powder

I stamped a snowflake with Versamark several times to create the background and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I also added a little diamond stickles to parts of the snowflakes.

I then die cut a tag in kraft paper and stamped that with Versamark and the Antique Brocade stamp.  I used the emboss resist technique when I inked it with Peeled Paint.  The BELIEVE sentiment is from a Stampers Anonymous stamp and is stamped in Fired Brick, and the edges are inked with Vintage Photo.

I then simply added the felt snowflakes, button and twine to the side of the tag.  The two thin red strips of paper were made with white paper onto which I dabbed a lot of Fired Brick to ensure that all the colours matched.

I hope that you are enjoying a fabulous Saturday and not still out Christmas shopping!!!  Thank you for popping by my blog, your lovely comments are the greatest!
