Work in Progress!!!

No card to show you yet today, although I hope to have a bit of time later to make more cards for Vera's Caring Hearts Card Drive.  Yesterday I was busy putting together 27 Halloween Treat bags for my daughters Pre-K class for Friday!  My Mom, who should be severely jet lagged, stepped in to help count out the candy that went into each bag!  I am a bit obsessive about making sure each child has the same amount of candy!

All the items I used to make the bag toppers are from PapertreyInk.  I just love their Tiny Treats: Halloween stamp set, perfect for something like this.  The ink I used was Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade and Black Soot from Ranger, and Smokey Plum from CTMH.

Here are just a few photos of the production line!!!

That's my Mom!

Counting the candy...

Coloured all 27 images with Copics!!!

I still have to assemble the bags, right now I am trying to decide between buying more sweeties to fill the bags because they look rather empty, or to cut the bags a little shorter!

Thanks for looking. Hope to be back later with a card.

Hi Brenda! I'm so glad you are blogging now! I always enjoyed seeing your cards on Flicker but this is even better ;)

I left a comment a couple of posts ago on your owh masculine challenge entry and was wondering if you'd like to help me by making a sample card or two for a owh midweek throwdown challenge in November or December. You can e mail me at gonestampin(at)gmail(dot)com.

Thanks,

Jan
