HERO ARTS - One Layer Challenge

We're home for a short while before going back to the beach so I thought I would make a card for this months Hero Arts Contest which is to create a one layer card.  You can see all the details HERE.

I decided to use a lovely Poppy stamp by Hero Arts for my card:

Apologies for the photo quality but it's evening and one of the light bulbs have fused!

The stamp I used is called Poppy (H5904).  The sentiment is also Hero Arts from an older set called Special Note of Thanks (CL499).  I added a bit of Pumice Stone Distress ink through a Tim Holtz stencil for added interest.

Now I am off to bed to go and read a little!  Have a wonderful day!

Lovely, Brenda! The font of that sentiment is so nice with the rest of your card!

Hi Brenda! This one layer card is absolutely gorgeous! I love the soft stencil background (a cool section of it, love the fade out) and that poppy is so pretty! Hope all is well for you!

This needs to be pinned, it is so gorgeous and I love how you got a beautiful print with that stamp, as I know it's not easy!
