I love it when you visit a friend's blog and stumble upon a challenge blog that is interesting. Like this one, Seize The Birthday. They have two sketches a month, each sketch runs for two weeks but the challenge is that one week you make a Masculine card and the next week a Girly card with the same sketch, the following week then sees a new sketch and so it goes. What a really neat idea to get those Birthday cards made in advance right!
So I decide to play with the current sketch which closes today and it had to be a masculine card. All went fine with the card and the sketch, until it came to sentiment time, and that's where I just had to take some freedom. Here is my card:
Paper: cardstock (PTI); designer paper (Teresa Collins: Everyday Moments)
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black; Scattered Straw and Chipped Sapphire Distress ink
Stamps: PTI (Trendy Tree Tops & It's a Jungle Out There)
Other: PTI dies; MFT Grass die
I have 30 minutes to play in my room right now before I fetch my love bug from school, so I am off! Have a fabulous day.
