It's A String Thing #112

Change is hectic!  It can throw your life totally on its head.  We are in our new town for 3 months now, and it's going to take a lot longer for me to feel settled.  But thank goodness my daughter and husband have taken to the change like a fish takes to water.

One of the things I have missed a lot is my card making and my tangling.  I don't have a spare room to craft in here and I just don't like unpacking and repacking my things every night, it's just not for me.  And I can only tolerate a messy table for so long before  I blow a fuse at myself!

I've tangled a bit here and there, but I've felt that I lost my way a little.  I was rushing my tangling and the two do not go together!  So this morning I thought I'd look in to the latest It's A String Thing challenge over at Adele's blog, and that's exactly what I needed.  I actually slowed down for an hour while I tangle this challenge.  Thank you Adele!  Here is what I came up with:

Tangles: Minline; Puffle; Kisses

Adele, if you are reading this, my apologies but I really did not do justice to your lovely tangle: KISSES!  I'm struggling with making the shape consistent each time.  Maybe I should have eaten many more Hershey Kisses whilst we lived in the USA!!!

I'm going to find ways to carve out a bit of time here and there to do those things that I love doing and have missed doing.  I'm not a selfish person, but I can totally understand how we all need a bit of time for ourselves too,

Having said that, it's not all bad.  I hope to be posting some pictures in future blog posts of some wonderful moments in and around this part of the world!

Thank you for visiting if you do.  Wishing you all a fabulous day!

Hi there stranger! It's good to see a post from you today! The outer right edge of your tangle looks like ribbon candy!! I hope you get a more settled feeling soon. Just remember it's only a short time there while you work on your dream home. Take care, hugs coming from the USA!!

I don't know much about tangling but your card looks amazing to me, Brenda!
