Stretch Your Stamps 2 - Day 6

I'm on Day 6 and the actual class has already ended, so that makes me a lot of days behind! Most techniques had to do with colouring today and what awesome colour combinations these girls showcased.

So, I went with Donna Mikasa's technique and just had to use Laura Bassen's colours.  Here is what I made:

www.infinite-possibilities.blogspot.com

Paper: cardstock (PTI); watercolour paper
Ink: Versamark; Distress Inks (Worn Lipstick; Ripe Persimmon; Squeezed Lemonade)
Stamps: Flora & Fauna (WPlus9); Tag It's #5 (PTI)
Other: white embossing powder (HA); Metal Black nailheads; Washi Tape

I just love those colours together, I hope I remember them for a long time.

This technique was so simple and really enjoyable.  After stamping the image and heat embossing it in white, I inked my watercolour panel with my Distress inks.  And then the magic!  Remove some ink!  Which I only did on the flowers, not the leaves.  I love how it creates a softness that wasn't there before.

I had some thin Washi Tape in my stash, from SSS I think, and decided to use a piece on each side o the panel for added interest.

Those of you that are doing this online class, I really hope you are enjoying it as much as I am!

Have a blessed day!
