Stretch Your Stamps 2 - Day 9

It's a quick post today.  Day 9 was about Floral Stamps and Floral Builder Stamps.  Both a bit of a challenge for me.  I'm not great at layering stamps and of the two "builder" style stamp sets I have, every time I have tried them I have failed dismally.

And I was no better this time, but I had to give it another try.  I think my colours sort of "stink" - however, I have to admit that I was in a bit of a rush as this week is a crazy week for me and when I don't have the time to go for a run then all the wheels seem to start falling off, one by one!

Ok, the self-pity is over, here is my attempt at Yana Smakula's technique.  (I will be going back to Day 9 to try some of the other lovely ideas that were shared, as soon as I can find the time).

Paper: cardstock (PTI)
Ink: various Memento inks and White Pigment Ink (PTI)
Stamps: Botanicals 2 (Paper Smooches); Asian Fusion (PTI)
Other: Oval Nestabilities

I have no idea why the photo came out yellow, so my apologies.

Have a wonderful day!

Great card Brenda. There are just so many ideas to try. I really haven't had a chance to do much with the flower builder stamps either.

I really love the shadow effect Brenda! I don't think your colors are "stinky" at all!
