Tuesday Trigger: Lovely As a Lullaby

This is the trigger over on Moxie Fab World this week! I was attracted to the cream, blues, stripes and dots, and I have no idea why, but it made me think of love and Paris!  So here is my take, I don't even know if I like it because it's not really my style of card!  But as I said, I have no idea why I went here with this challenge, but sometimes you just have to let it be...

Paper: Cardstock (PTI); Patterned Paper (K & Co; Pink Paislee; Stampington & Co.)
Ink: Antique Linen DI; CTMH (Heavenly Blue Dye ink); Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps: Hero Arts (Canvas Stripes CG196); Technique Tuesday (Mon Ami Paris)
Other: PTI die; Sizzix Die; Woolen thread; Distressing Tool (Tim Holtz)

I distressed the edges of the two mats to represent the frays in the trigger. The Eiffel Tower is stamped on Pink Paislee patterned paper which has some light brown dots on it and then trimmed.  I love the font for the sentiment, Ali Edwards really has the most amazing fonts and sentiments.  Lot of inking of edges with Antique Linen distress ink.

I think it's self-explanatory.  Thanks for taking a peek, not sure that I will stamp this kind of style too often.

Have a fabulous day!

Well I am glad you played along. I struggled a bit with the grey polka dots but you worked so well with it. A fantastic job! Maybe it s not your style but it sure is a beauty! Wow!

It's always fun trying something different- you are good at stepping out of the box with new styles. This one is way out of my league! Nicely done :)
