Unity Hip Hop Sketch Challenge

As I have purchased a few Unity stamps recently, and they stamp like a dream come true, and I love the images in the Monthly Kits, I noticed today that they have a weekly sketch challenge over at Splitcoaststampers and here is this week's sketch #43:

So, I have decided to play along!   I thought that the sketch was fun and not too difficult.  Here is my take on it:

Paper: PTI Cardstock
Ink: Olive & Honey Dye Ink (CTMH), Iris Chalk Ink & Soft Pool (Hero Arts), Memento Tuxedo Black
Stamps: Unity
Other: Gems from my stash

I love this umbrella, there are actually 3 in the set called "Rain & Flowers".  I stamped them on the card base using my stampamajig and then stamped them again with the different coloured inks on a separate piece of paper and paper pieced just the tops.  I added a bit of bling here and there.  I also stamped the raindrops before doing the paper piecing. The sentiment is from a set called "Sending my Love".

A simple CAS card.  I hope you like it.  Thank you for coming past my blog, I truly appreciate it.

Well, they are predicting some snow showers here in Houston, Texas!  My daughter will not be able to contain herself!  This will be her first sighting ever!
